TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE WEBSITE AND COOKIES POLICY
The present website (hereinafter the “Website”) was created by the Law Firm “VAP LAW OFFICES, with registered offices in Athens, Greece (4, K. Servias street, Syntagma, P.C. 10562, e-mail address: [email protected]) (hereinafter the “Firm”). The scope of the Website is to provide updates and information to the visitors, thus its content does not consist a legal advice in any case, neither its use by the visitor establishes a lawyer-client relationship. The Firm wishes to inform the visitors (hereinafter the “Users“) about the Website’s mode and terms of operation, so that they have control over the data and information they choose to share with us and are informed about their use by us, as well as about their rights and obligations arising from visiting and browsing our Website (hereinafter the “Use“).
Please note that you should proceed to the Use of this Website, only if you are over 16 years old. The content of the Website addresses adults. The Firm does not collect, or is willing to collect any data from persons younger than 16 years old.

The Firm complies fully with the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and all personal data provided by visitors-users of the Website are collected and processed by the Firm by virtue of the consent granted by the former with the Use of the Website and according to the Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy of the Firm.

The contents of the Website (including, without limitation, marks, distinctive marks, photos, texts, images, drawings, diagrams, codes and in general any document and file), excluding certain third party rights, such as intellectual property rights and other rights, are the object of intellectual, industrial and commercial property and protected by the relevant provisions of the Greek, European and international law.
It is prohibited to commercialize, copy, modify, reproduce, transmit, transfer and distribute this content, in whole or in part, in any way by any User, without the prior written consent of the Firm.
By way of exception, the Firm allows Users to copy and print extracts or documents from the Website (excluding those, whose beneficiaries are third parties) for their exclusive personal use. Any copy or extract of such documents or pages and/or any other file obtained, maintains all copyrights or other property notices and any disclaimer contained therein
- OBLIGATIONS OF USERS
The Users of the Website accept, agree and covenant to Use the Website in a lawful and appropriate manner. Therefore, the Users agree to not Use the Website in any manner, including, but not limited to, in which they might:

- i) violates any third party rights (e.g. copyright and industrial property right),
- ii) offends the personality of third parties (e.g. defamatory, racist content),
iii) is contrary to the law and fair business practices,

- c) mislead anyone as to the origin of the content of this Website, damage in any way the reputation of the owners, administrators or third parties, put the security of their network at risk, hinder any User from accessing the Website or any other service hosted or connected to the Firm’s network or override their identity check.
- d) install and promote, in any way, any type of unsolicited or unauthorized advertisement or unwanted spam messages, pyramid schemes and any other form of unwanted and unauthorized content promotion, as well as install and forward advertisements without the written consent of the owners.
- e) install, forward and/or distribute content which contains software viruses or any other electronic code, files or programs designed to interfere with, destroy or restrict the operation of any software or telecommunications equipment, or hinder other Users from using the Website, or in general put either the operation of the Website or the security of its Users at risk.
The Firm is not liable in any way towards its Users for any leakage of their personal data or any infringement or damage arising from the Use by them, through the Website, the products and services of third parties.
Similarly, the Firm is not liable for any interruption of the Websites services due to a disruption or for any other reason. Also, the Firm has taken all measures possible for the protection of the Website and in general the network against malicious cyber-attacks, but does not guarantee the absence of viruses or other data which are harmful to Users both in the servers and in affiliated or not web pages, to the extent beyond the ability and the control of the Firm.
The Firm does not guarantee, directly or indirectly, that the content of the Website will always be up-do-date, without errors, meet the users’ demands and that the results from the its use will be reliable, accurate and without errors, but it guarantees that it will make every effort possible for all the above.
Due to continuous developments, the information contained in the Website might not always be fully updated or up-to-date and for this reason, these information are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS PROVIDED” basis. The use of information received or stored by or through the Website is subject to the sole discretion and responsibility of the user. The User accepts that it has to assess the content and that it is responsible for any risk that might arise from the use of any content.
The content of the Website can in no way be deemed as legal/investment/tax or other advice, nor should it be considered as a basis for any decision or action.
- COOKIES POLICY
There are two types of cookies: temporary and persistent. Temporary cookies vanish from the computer when the web browser is closed or the computer is shut down. Persistent cookies remain in the computer after the browser is closed or the computer is shut down. If the Users have selected to be identified by the Firm, then temporary cookies are used which contain encrypted data in order to enable the identification in a unique manner.

- GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions of Use and any modification thereof are governed by Greek Law. In case of any dispute that arises from this agreement, the courts of Athens have subject-matter jurisdiction.
In case any article of the above terms is deemed unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the other terms. These Terms represent the entire agreement between every User and the Firm and govern the access and Use of the Website by the Users. These Terms supersede any other written agreement between every user and the Firm in relation to the Use of the Website.
These Terms are construed in accordance with the Greek Legislation.
